As teachers we must stand up for the children of the world, breaking free from rigid agendas and systems that don’t serve as solutions to the problems caused by these same systems, and that our children today are left with. With the responsibility of growing the coming generations, schools need to urgently stop the practice of outdated and directly harmful educational practices of the 20th century, and replace them with up-to-date educational practice meeting the needs of children growing up in the 21st century. With all the conflict in the world, and the environmental crisis, and the rapid advancement of AI, it’s more important than anything else that young people develop their awareness, emotional intelligence, ethics, compassion, and sense of shared responsibility for their world.

To accelerate and strengthen this process, we - the educators leading this change, must unite to share ideas, learn, understand challenges, find courage and support each other. By creating a community of educators dedicated to transforming education, together we can create a collective momentum that with time will outgrow and replace outdated practice, enabling the journey toward change to become active and expanding for the coming generations.​
